This year's SFF Symposium marks the 25th "Silver Anniversary" of the conference. It is fitting at this momentous occasion to take a look at where we've been and to gaze over the horizon into the unknown future. The Monday morning plenary session will open with a presentation by the founder of the SFF Symposium, Dr. Harris Marcus from The University of Connecticut at Storrs, who will speak on the origins of the SFF Symposium. Following will be presentations by seven excellent pioneers of additive manufacturing technology whose careers span over 25 years. Focusing on the theme, "Additive Manufacturing – The First Five Years", they will be sharing their perspective on their "first five years" of work in additive manufacturing.
